PROLOGUE





Whatwe know today, the wheel is probably the most important mechanicalinvention of human kind. (Is it human kind?) Someone invented a woodwheel around 4,000 BC. No one knows who this genius was, althoughmany would have liked to take credit for it. Then another geniusrealized that wheels could be made from stone. Next, another brightperson invented a cast iron wheel. It is on display in Tehran, datedback to the same time.



TheEgyptian chariots were one of the first and simplest types ofcarriages, using the wheel. Artisans built them around 2,500 BC andtheir use peaked at 1,300 BC and they built them light, strong andfast, driven by horsepower. Sumerian used them and later the Romansand the Persians used them for warfare and recreation. The waterwheel was another important derivative of the wheel, used in ancientagriculture.



Around1,850AD, engineers used the wheel to move cars. Engineersconstructed them massively. Some had three wheels and the Model Thad four. It carried its own engine and motor. At the same time,most European and American inventors built cars at an unbelievablepace at the same time.



Whygive attention to wheel?



Weconcentrate on it because it is an outstanding invention. We caneasily trace it and relate it to the history and growth of technologyhere on earth. The growth and development of technology was slow. Amastermind invented the wheel about 4,000 BC. Although humanityfrequently used derivatives of the wheel, to move heavy objects, ittook 1,500 years to mount the wheel on a chariot. In addition, ittook 5,850 years to place the first wheel on a car.



Wecould compare the last 5,900 years, beginning with the invention ofthe wheel, to the last 100 years, from 1,900 to 2,000. Iftechnological progress was extremely slow during the last 5,900years, how is it then possible to advance in technology at anextraordinarily rapid pace during the last 100 years?



Couldthis growth be exponentially related? Though man at 4,000 BC may nothave understood the mathematical concept ‘exponentially related’,it was there, just the same, guiding humans.



CouldEarthling have been solely responsible for the millions of inventionof the last 100 years?



Whenwe discuss the history and the development of technology, we mustestablish the period that we are talking about. Scientists likeMorgan, White and Lenski insist that uniform technological progressis the primary driving factor of human civilization. However, thisis always extremely subjective and biased, depending on the regionunder discussion and the stage of progress of a particular group. The nomadic Turks would like to believe that history began with themduring 1,000 AD. The Christians have tried to take credit for thedevelopment of technology and so have the Israelites, starting atabout the same time. If anyone civilization could take partialcredit it should be the Muslims, because of Muhammad’s revelationsin 600 AD. That is when he wrote Quran and his Muslims followersmemorized it during his life. Unfortunately, the Muslims cannot takecredit either for the beginning of technology.



So,who can take the credit? Do we know?



No,we do not know, but we can guess, surmise, or speculate. Someday anarcheologist will come upon tablets older than the existing tabletsthat Homo sapiens have carved out and stored somewhere in a cave orunder the sands of earth. Hidden for thousands of years, perhapsthey will shed an additional glimmer of light on the origin oftechnology.



Thehistory of technology is the history of the development of tools;starting with shaped rocks and continuing to our present day machinetools. Humans also linked religious beliefs closely to it and thefarther back we go in time the stronger was the religious tie, basedon fear, to the development of technology. Christians invented thecross. Monks invented gunpowder. Sumerian priests, guided by theAnunnaki Elite, invented the city-states. That doesn’t mean thatreligion didn’t have a part in the recent past; Werner von Brown isthe father of rocketry and he was quoting Jesus while he invented therocket, giving him partial credit.



Whatis the process of technological development?



Itis the improvement of older knowledge, also called backgroundknowledge. Humans transferred this knowledge by word of mouth and bykeeping records — starting with cave drawings to the mostsophisticated, three-dimensional drawings, generated with AutoCAD. It has allowed people to make new objects. For example, to mounttires on a wheel one must first have a metal wheel. Is this, wherethe implementation of technology started?



No,it is not.



Continuingthe same line of reasoning, we should ask, who invented the metal forthe wheel? And before that, who made the first wooden or stonewheel? Looking at a modern example, to automate a machine one mustfirst have a machine that one can operated manually. Then we canautomate it with levers, switches, or computer programs. That is thedevelopment of technology; a growth process that has its rootshundreds of thousands years ago, perhaps 450,000 years, during thePaleolithic age.



Whyis it 450,000 years?



Archeologistshave found tables dating to that time. From these tablets, theyfound that we have a mountain of technology given to us, without ourbackground knowledge, documented in an ingenious book called TheLost Book of Enki. Neanderthal man continuedto be involved in the development of technology during this time, byhunting, producing stone tools and artifacts at an incredibly slowpace.



Whocould have done it?



Anintelligence, known as the Anunnakis, supplied a vast amount oftechnology to a small group of Homo sapiens. Unfortunately, theyachieved their goals mostly by conflicts.

Theplace was today’s Middle East.

Thetime was 450,000 years ago.

Theirobjective was to settle on earth, later to mine gold and take it tothe planet Nibiru to manufacture jewelry and perhaps to save theirplanet.

Theresult on earth was constant progress, not withstanding conflict andfamine.
