Promises Hurt

WHERE TO START? Okay it most definitely needs to be with an apology. I know with perfect unwavering certainty that I WILL forget to mention people. I have a fantastic ability to retain useless information, but when it comes to the important things like this…I’m a nightmare. So, to all of you people that most definitely deserve a mention and I haven’t named you, it wasn’t intentional. I’m sorry, thank you for all of your support and encouragement. I’m so very grateful.

I need to thank my amazing family. You have had to patiently endure months of microwave meals, creased clothes and have every single question you’ve asked, answered with: “let me just finish this paragraph!”

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the time and space I needed to write this book. I love you. You are my world.

The next shout out has to be to my partner in crime Author Kathryn Andrews. Your support has been above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamt or hoped for. I look forward to our daily chats and completely random conversations. You’ve steered me back on course so many times with your notes and little nuggets of encouragement. You are like my own personal life coach! Thank you. I can’t wait to toast our books with a ridiculously large glass of pink champagne.

To all the wonderful Bloggers that have reviewed and promoted my work, there are too many of you to name and I’m terrified that if I try, I will miss someone out. So please know that every single one of you is awesome. Your help has been invaluable. You all took a chance on a new indie and I’m indebted to you forever.

My BETA girls! Jaime, Silvia, Malinda, Dana, Bobbi and Sue, I sent you out my manuscript and was so nervous for your comments, it felt like I had mailed you all nude pictures of myself! Sharing my book with you left me feeling completely exposed, but then I started to receive your comments and WOW. I had hoped that you would like the book; I never expected you to all come back and tell me that you loved it. Your suggestions and encouragement gave me the confidence to push forward and publish. I can never thank you all enough.

My proofreaders, Olivia (Rosie), and Mary Lou - what can I say? Except autocorrect hates me! You guys have been amazing.

The wonderfully talented Melissa Gill of MGBOOKCOVERS & DESIGNS. You took my ideas and produced exactly what I had been envisaging in my mind. The cover is beautiful and I can’t wait to see what you come up with for book #2.

Marie Piquette editor extraordinaire, I feel like I should both apologize to you for the horrendous amount of run-ons, and thank you for your time and patience. You are a STAR!

Julie (JT Formatting) my brilliant formatter, thank you for working your magic. You transformed my manuscript into a beautiful book.

Finally a huge thank you to you the reader, it is still blowing my mind that you’re reading my words. I hope you continue to follow the path I’ve mapped out for Blair and Ethan as their story concludes in book #2 of The Promises Series.
