If It Drives (Market Garden, #7)

Finally, Cal nudged him away. He sank against the seat, spent and more relaxed than he’d been in he didn’t know how long. Meeting James’s eyes, he licked his lips. “Just so you know, when you’re out of that meeting?” He grinned. “I’m going to fuck you ’til you cry.”

James’s breath caught audibly in his throat. “Only if you’re comfortable with that.”

“I am. It’s not . . . something I have to force myself to do. Nick taught me a couple things, but it’s natural for me, like it’s natural for you. I want you to imagine what I’ll do to you during that meeting. I’ll sit here and plan it all out while I’m waiting.”

James smiled. “Sounds like we’ll do the hotel again?”

Cal nodded. By the time the meeting was over, he’d likely be as turned on and nervous as James, so the hotel was a good idea. “All right.”

“Are you going to make me go try to find condoms again?”

“I think that’s rather my decision.”

James looked down at Cal’s feet. “It is. I’ll do what pleases you.”

And they were back to easy and natural. This was something they could always rely on. Cal leaned down and kissed James again. “Book the hotel. I’m pretty sure I’ll find some other ways to drive you insane.”

James grinned. “I’m looking forward to it.”

“As am I.” Cal smoothed James’s dishevelled hair. “Straighten yourself up. We need to get you to that meeting.”

“Right. Of course.”

The meeting wasn’t far from the park, and by the time James stepped out of the car, he didn’t have a single hair out of place.

“Meeting should be over by four thirty.” He smiled. “I’ll see you out here?”

Cal smiled back. “I’ll be waiting, sir.”
