Love Redeemed (Book #4)

“I-I was. I just couldn’t decide when would be the best time,” she murmurs apologetically.

“Wouldn’t that have been when you found out? What’s the big deal with just telling me that you’re expecting?” I’m growing frustrated. “Did you miss a pill?

She shakes her head as bites her bottom lip.

“Well, what the hell happened, baby?”

Rayna’s eyes go all around, but don’t seem to want to focus on me.

“Rayna!”

“I didn’t miss a pill!” she nearly shouts impatiently.

“Well, what the fu—”

“I stopped taking them. Okay!”

“Why would you do something like that? I thought you didn’t want more kids.”

I’m so lost right now. When the twins turned two, I expressed that I wanted more children and Rayna protested and adamantly. I dropped the issue, seeing that she’d put such effort into getting her body back.

“That was before…when I didn’t want more…” her voice trails off and she buries her face in my neck.

“More what?”

“More of you.”

Okay, now I’m really confused.

“You have all of me. Always.”

“No, but this is different. When we got pregnant before, it was an accident. I wanted that experience of trying to conceive as your wife. I feel like that strengthens our bond…like it makes us closer, you know? I want a baby now, not just to accept being pregnant at an awkward time. I like you as a daddy. I want more of it, and Dasu and Kennedy are getting so big so fast. I don’t want this phase of our partnership to fly by so quickly. I want more. With you.”

My chest tightens. I hate to see her so emotional. If she wanted another baby, I wouldn’t have had a problem giving it to her.

“Are you happy?” I ask.

“About the baby? I’m ecstatic. About your reception, I don’t know,” she answers.

“I’m happy if this is what you want.”

She lifts her head to gaze into my eyes. “Well, why did you react so harshly moments ago?” It’s Rayna’s turn to whine now.

“Because it’s hard to learn of some crazy woman stealing your seeds for her own agenda. That has to be illegal,” I mock.

Rayna laughs, one of her lighthearted laughs that I love supplying.

“Seriously, I wouldn’t have fuck you in public, in a booth had I known. I wouldn’t have put you in an easy access dress and killer heels either.”

Rayna’s eyes are smoldering in an instant. “I like the way you set me up tonight. It makes me feel like a M.I.L.F.,” she groans.

“Yeah, you’re the only mother I like to fuck, and I will be the only in the reverse as well, little girl.”

Rayna laughs again. I reach over into the shopping back to get a few cloths to clean us up. Rayna is softly snoring before I’m done. How could I have missed this for a second time? I wrap her up in the big housecoat I brought along and then zip myself back up. Within seconds, I’m lifting Rayna in the air.

“I’m sorry, orgasms make me sleepy when I’m pregnant,” Rayna mumbles on a yawn.

“Well, maybe I can arrange another one in the back of the car that will ensure you’ll sleep through the night,” I murmur as we’re exiting through the rear of the club.

“I don’t think so, Jacobs. We didn’t bring the limo tonight.”

“My car. My *.”

“Indeed,” she says and is out again before we’re inside the car.

Cute.

The end.
