Hard Charger (Flash Bang #2)

“Omigod. You’re … Omigod.”

Shivers were no longer shivers. They were electrically charged bolts of lightning ripping through her body. Her nipples hardened, and every nerve ending in her body tightened to the breaking point.

Lia had never felt so fully possessed in her life.

“You good, sweetheart?” Cam asked, his hand stroking her back and side. “You ready for us to move?”

She nodded. Words were almost beyond her reach, but she managed a shaky, “Please.”

“Good girl.”

Travis gripped her hips as Cam pulled back, lifting her up and off his cock as Cam slid back inside.

In-out-in-out. The rhythm of the two men, taking her together, emptied every thought from her head except mindless pleasure.

“Touch yourself, sweetheart,” Cam ordered. “Play with that sweet little clit. I want you to fall apart when you come. We’ll be here to pick up the pieces.”

Lia obeyed, because … just because.

Her fingers found her clit, and she pressed and teased and circled as the men dragged her to the brink.

Over and over they took turns filling her, fucking her. Until every single thread of her control pulled tight—and snapped.

Lia screamed as an orgasm unlike any other tore through her.

Falling forward onto Travis, she clutched at his shoulders, burying her face in his neck. Her teeth dug into the muscle of his shoulder as she splintered into smaller and smaller pieces. She was barely conscious of the two groans that came within moments.

Limp, sated, and completely destroyed, Lia closed her eyes and passed out.

Travis curled around Lia as her head rested on Cam’s chest. She’d been totally out after they’d finished, only waking as they’d cleaned her up and tucked her in.

She’d mumbled ‘I love yous’ and promptly passed out again.

It wasn’t hard on their egos; that was for damn sure.

He let his mind wander to what was next.

A new life had been born on Castle Creek land today. A new era was beginning.

Life before the grid went down was fading to a distant memory as they all adapted to this new reality.

The future was uncertain, and nothing was guaranteed but the fact that they’d do whatever it took to keep this ranch and the people on it safe.

The family was growing, and he wondered if he and Cam and Lia would add to it themselves one of these days. The thought of bringing a child into this crazy, dangerous world was terrifying, but the idea of Lia growing round with their baby filled him with a sense of possessive rightness.

They’d let fate take its course.

Closing his eyes, he slid into sleep. The last thought in his head before he drifted off was: I wouldn’t change a goddamn thing.

“It’s my turn to hold the baby,” Erica declared.

“Oh, hell no. You had Mira for at least a half hour earlier. It’s totally my turn,” Lia said. Her eyes rested on the infant sleeping in Ro’s arms.

“I never realized I’d have to fight to hold my own kid,” Ro replied, settling Mira in Lia’s arms.

“It’s not our fault you make such adorable ones,” Erica remarked, her voice quieting as she sat beside Lia and trailed a finger down the little girl’s soft cheek. “There’s so much Graham in her. I guess you’ll have to let Zach’s swimmers win next time.”

Ro raised her eyebrows. “One at a time. I’m not thinking about anything beyond Mira for now.” Ro looked to Lia. “What about you? I see the way those two watch you when you have her.” Lia’s eyes landed on the men coming in the door of the mess hall, and warmth settled over her at the idea.

Blessed didn’t even begin to cover how she felt.

Cam’s eyes were soft as he stopped next to her and sank into a crouch.

“You look beautiful holding her. But then again, you always look beautiful,” he whispered.

“Thank you. And she’s the beautiful one.”

Jack stopped behind Cam. “Always figured you’d have a whole brood of your own, all the babysitting you did as a kid.”

Lia smiled at Cam and Travis. “I guess we’ll see what happens. Here you go, Daddy.” She handed Mira off to Zach as he came close with that look in his eyes. The one that said he needed to hold his daughter.

The thought of Cam or Travis coming to her with that look made her want to tell them to skip the condoms forever.

Lia stood, and each man held out a hand. She gripped them both and let them lead her out of the mess hall toward their cabin.

Lifting her face to the sky, she soaked up the light and said goodbye to the darkness forever.
