Dear Readers, Once again, the K-9 Rescue Series has taken me on an adventure and introduced me to new wonderful people and dogs. This latest installment, Explosive Forces, required me to venture into the complicated field of Arson Investigation. My guide was Brad Sims, Arson Investigator with Forth Worth, TX Fire Department’s Arson/bomb Squad Division. Brad isn’t a dog man, but his knowledge of arson and arsonists proved very valuable to me. He also introduced me to Mike Ikerd, another arson investigator who is partnered with a gorgeous black Lab Explosives Dog named Quigley.
