Love UnExpected (Love's Improbable Possibility)

A moan escaped my throat waking me out of my trance. I pulled away and pierced through his hooded eyes. He gazed down at me with entrenched in desire as his hand was still cupping the back of my head. I wasn't quite sure that I'd ever seen him so beside himself in passion. I couldn't let the moment fleet us without saying something.

“What is it? What's all of this?” I was all pants.

“I've missed you, Brimm.” He was out of breath himself and searching my eyes for a possible problem.

My feelings were all over the place from my concerns of Dawn Taylor to Petey’s covert operations, but I wasn't about to broach the subject. I broke our gaze and ambled further into the suite to see how far out he went with the ambiance. From the foyer the trail took two paths, one into the living room and the other into the bedroom where there were dozens of rose petals covering the bed. The glow of the room reminded me of the one in Azmir's bathroom the night we made love for the first time since our break up. I stood about a foot into the doorway frozen, trying to settle my mind. I felt him come from behind, kissing my neck, clouding my judgment. My body shivered at the touch of his deft tongue. He went from one side of my shoulder to the other.

“Do you know how good you look tonight? I almost brought you up here at the sight of laying eyes on you. I didn't want to ruin the surprise.” Azmir’s voice was hoarse, saturated in desire. “You are the most enthralling woman I've ever encountered.”

His hands ran down the front of my thighs pressing me into him so that I could feel his log of an erection. My eyes closed in forfeiture of my will. He was ready. And my body instinctively reacted to that. His hands ran up to my belly and over my breasts, massaging them through the dress. My mouth opened but I was unable to make a sound. His hands rounded to the back and unzipped my dress, slowly planting soft kisses down my back as far as my zipper went. When he finished, he peeled the dress off exposing my strapless bra. His hands traced around my breasts missing my swollen nipples. He pulled the dress down to my ankles and sauntered around to face me, but keeping a short distance. He took me in from head to toe before walking up to me.

He wrapped his arms around me, brought his mouth down to my ear and whispered, “Do you know how bad I want you?”

I shook my head no, being totally honest.

“I've been craving you since Monday morning when I woke up without you. You’re the first thing I think about when I rise and the last thing that I desire before I slip into slumber.” My breath hitched at that. I wasn’t intoxicated from liquor, but certainly was by his words.

“Yeah. That’s how I feel!” he continued to whisper in my ear referring to my body’s response in breathing and heart rate increase.

I felt his heart pump through his pectorals as he pressed me into his chest. So far, alcohol did not contribute to our chemistry. I wanted this man.

He removed his suit jacket, tossing it over the path of candles and onto the lounge chair in the corner and then started undoing his shirt all while gazing deeply into my eyes. It was all taking too long for me so I helped by unbuttoning his shirt from the bottom, quickly and steadily. When I was done, I unbuckled his belt, then pants until they dropped to the floor, all the while looking him in the eyes.
